Sourced from an estate located in the Karatu district, Tanzania. The Karatu estate is located between these commanding landmarks, with 250 acres of coffee cultivated on the rim of the Ngorongoro crater, which is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

Flavor Profile:  

Wild tone that is a little higher in acidity and sweet on the initial taste. There are also hints of soft fruit and florals that fade into a malty tone that is smooth and ends in a bakers chocolate finish. 

Roast Recommendations:
Versatile bean that is tastes great light to dark. Balanced at a medium roast and full bodied and smoky at a dark roast that also gives a strong chocolaty tone and slightly bitter.
